Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh is one of the very first heroes ever written about. His adventures were told on clay tablets thousands of years ago in the land of Mesopotamia. He was a king who was part human and part god. Gilgamesh and his great friend, Enkidu, fought monsters, met the gods, and searched for the secret of life itself. Their story includes a version of the Great Flood.
